Every year at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), the first event of luxury Watch Industry, the eyes of every watch enthusiast is set at what we call the beginning of glorious year. 2019 was little different with only 35 brands showcasing what they had in for the buyers and retailers this time. Being an exclusive affair to a very selected few, SIHH sets the tone for the Watch Community and brands. Here are some of our favourites:

This piece is equipped with the brand’s signature world timer, called the WW.TC, also featuring a day-night indicator. Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Spitfire by IWC Watches
This year, IWC was all about the Pilot’s Watch collection, with terrific new editions, including a Spitfire Timezoner and a perpetual calendar as well. This one here is an automatic chronograph version, with a 46-hour automatic movement set in a 41mm case. Made of bronze, the 60m water-resistant case will patinate, and as each piece produced ages differently in different conditions of humidity, it will become quite unique in appearance over time. This will only enhance the vintage look of the watch, continuing to complement the green dial featuring 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters at 12 and nine, and small seconds and a day-date indicator at six and three o’clock respectively.
Submersible EcoTitanium Mike Horn Edition 47mm Panerai Watches
A two luxury watch edition, Panerai Submersible Mike Horn 47mm is a beautiful watch created with their longtime ambassador Mike Horn. The two models look largely similar but can be differentiated on the basis of luminous material used on the dial. There’s one standard model with green lumed while the other is a 19 Piece Limited Edition that’s blue in color. Costing double as compared to the normal model, the Limited Edition version comes with a chance to join Mike Horn on a trip to the polar ice floes of the Arctic.
Freak X Titanium by Ulysse Nardin Watches
Pushed as X Factor in design and overall technology, Ulysse Nardin Freak X comes with a brand-new Manufacture flying carrousel movement rotating around its own axis with no dial and no hands. FREAK, Ulysse Nardin’s most audacious collection to date, boldly pushes desires to the max, shaking up the status quo. It also features with a conventional crown on its 43mm titanium case, featuring a blue PVD finish on its bezel to match its dial.
